In "LIVE" broadcasting it is sometimes easier to tape or record interviews and arrival bus shots and play them back as if they were live. But these things have multiple takes and in my position, you better fucking cue up the right take! I'm quite sure this guy got fired over this! Any of you out there work in an industry where your work is on display some way and a screw up is not seen by just yourself?

Uh, yeah.

The bottom one had a couple of guys aboard I went to school with, and a result of a bunch of poor decisions. The top one...I wasn't around for that, but that's the program I'm helping with.

Looks like it could use a little help. I was a missile launch officer in the Air Force and they always told me that the Minuteman III could hit the nit on a gnat's nut in Moscow from our launch sites in Colorado & Nebraska. If they actually flew like that, I'm reaaaaly glad I never had to launch one of those suckers.

That was at the beginning of the program, where someone hadn't really figured out that burning a nozzle shut could have poor performance results. It got fixed, though...but it's just another way to see that if someone's not doing their job, spectacular things (not necessarily good) can be shown to the world.

On an ESPN show, ya it's bad enough. Everybody screws up sometimes, but that was pretty bad. Anytime you are going to a taped element, you should always know it is right! He fucked up. Even I have fucked up, but not like that.

That base sure is narrow. If a breeze blows, that sub is tipping over.

What was the correct version of what she said?
