The Atlanta Hawks are everything that I've prayed that the Blazers never become (and occasionally have in stretches in their history): happy with mediocrity. Stagnant because they have a bunch of "good guys" and "nice chemistry" and the team is more of a feel-good PR campaign than an NBA team with a desire to win. It's too bad, because I think Joe Johnson and Al Horford and those guys are really good players, but what Chuck said is right on the fucking money: they'd all be awesome complimentary players to a Superstar. If that organization had the balls and the vision (and the fan support) to go out and get a Dwight Howard, or a Dirk Nowitski, or a Tim Duncan, or a Chris Paul... they'd make real noise in the East. But they won't.
