I've been fond of comparing Bayless with Philadelphia's Lou Williams. I meant it (of course) as an insult, as in "undersized 2G who can't play PG". Well, I guess I'll have to stop, or at least, start hoping that the comparison remains true. Maybe Andre Miller was holding him back?

(Actually, I think two factors besides Williams's own improvement can help explain his good play:
1. Eddie Jordan's "Princeton Offense" which, like the triangle, spreads around the ball handling duties.
2. Andre Iguodala is really their PG.)

You answered this question "Maybe Andre Miller was holding him back?" when you mentioned the offense and AI being their PG. Miller isn't holding him back as much as Nate's offense is.

Sort of like Brandon Roy ...

Been on the Brandon Roy at PG bandwagon for a long time now. He is really playing point, so just match him up with Rudy or Bayless and go to town. That way Bayless is playing his natural position, and there is plenty of ball handling on the court at all times.
