For some reason my day, and my attitude on this season has suddenly changed. Thanks lakerground for making my season a little more tolerable. Just when they clinch a playoff spot, they lose Kobe, and their lottery pick.

Ah I forgot about that dubious trade. However their team won't be good until they can clear some of those contracts, the lottery could be a long-term strategy.

Ahh didn't realize that. With the rapist making $30 mil to probably sit all year, I'd hate to be kupchak right now...

They are in bad shape. They don't have even mle to sign someone; even if Dwight leaves. They need to amnesty either Kobe or gasol to even get mle.
 
Looks like the Lakers are in. They got 12 more FTs than the Spurs. Oh well, they'll get swept out of the 1st round unless the refs continue their bafoonary.

Yeah, they're pretty much an easy win for whomever plays them in the first round.

I can't sleep over worry that Blake will take them to the Finals. Then, PapaG will become insufferable.
 
Lakers have a shot at the 7th seed and a first round date with SA.

Hahahahaha yep. They're toast. Their only hope is to suck next year and get Andrew Wiggins. They actually think LeBron might come to the Lakers. Hilarious.
 
Did they legitimately think they had a shot against San Antonio?
 
Maybe the hopes and shattered dreams they had for this one season was somewhere near what we felt with the loss of the hope of Roy, Oden and Aldridge for seasons to come. Welcome to the real world and deal with it LA.

Kobe would have had to play out of his mind, and the Spurs would have had to lay a huge egg.

This wasn't even close though. They were completely dominated all four games.
 
The fans wanted San Antonio and believed they could beat them. After all, they beat the Spurs two weeks ago with Steve Blake running the show. They were so excited to get the 7th seed. The radio announcer John Ireland was celebrating the 7th seed like they had won the championship. So glad it's all over now. Time to focus on Houston becoming the first NBA team to come back from 0-3.
