OT: Meyers about to be in hot water again...

If you go into one of those games you'll see a lot of racial slurs, things like "hitler was right" stuff like that. It's kids trolling. It's stupid.

With that said, this isn't Meyers trolling. This is just a straight up racial slur.
Ah, so it is sort of expected trolling. Then yeah, what the hell is Biebs doing streaming COD?

63. I'm being honest when I say I don't know what it means.
That's interesting....I believe you but to me it's like someone saying they don't know what the N word means or a certain chinese slur....etc....the Rat Pack with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin used the word all the time. So did Don Rickles

No way he makes it back from this. His 'murica shtick and then of course he's clearly a biggot. What about all that love stuff he was preaching? He doesn't belong in the league on any level. Fuck him. You think he he stops at the slur he used?

I probably heard the word said in a movie, but was never interested enough to discover its meaning.

He has been streaming a lot for a few years. I think he started when he was a Blazer. He was streaming Fortnight. He's not very good. Basically the dude has a ton of free time on his hands.

I don't know. There are a lot of teams that would probably overlook this if he could help them win a championship to be honest. The problem is that his talent/skill level makes it unlikely that he would be a better option than most other players without the recent injury history and PR issues. Time makes things go away. Unless this blows up and becomes a big thing, the world will probably forget.

I'm looking forward to the "I have a lot to learn...didnt know what this means...just heard the word myself..." in 5....4...3...2...

...was just about to say something like this, you know his public apology he will shift blame, try to sound smart, and get an angered tone with no real remorse or understanding.

You know its coming...very soon.

The only frustrating thing about this is that all the black athletes and celebs that came out a few months back with the anti-semitic stuff had zero consequences. But I can guarantee you that Meyers is done. His career is over. You can't be a white guy and drop a slur like that. And definitely not a white player who isn't good. Dude is toast. I just wish the same rules applied to everyone.

It might mean something to Jewish people whose families have been killed while that was being yelled at them. Society's faults don't excuse the damaging actions of the individuals who give in to those faults. There's no excusing racism.

racism is a broad term and theres a lot of things that are considered as racist that i personally dont agree with and this is one of those things

The media sure is slow to jump on this. Nothing on ESPN yet.

Imagine Meyers getting traded or waive after this incident.

Meyer’s seems like the type of guy who had no idea what that word means. He’s a real like puppy dog. He doesn’t exactly come across as a MENSA member.

I was a kid and heard the word hard-on for the first time in no context.

Went around saying it in front of parents and such until one friend’s dad explained to me what it meant. I was so embarrassed, mainly that I was like 10 and didn’t know what it meant.

I only hope he feels convicted and realizes the mistake he made.
