Mitchell native Mike Miller intends to sign a five-year, $30 million deal with the Miami Heat, sources told KSFY late Thursday night.

Earlier in the night, LeBron James announced his intention to sign with Miami, joining Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade with the Heat.

If Shaq can just get in the best possible shape considering the stage of his career, that team would be a sight to see.

You know who the perfect center for that team is?

Channing Frye.

Someone will need to explain this one and how he fits under their cap for that much.. unless LeBron/Wade/Bosh took more paycuts.

Everyone and his uncle will now join the Heat to get a ring. I thought they had their shooter when they stole James Jones from us.

Lol.

Wow.

Fuck it, just give them the title for the next 4 or 5 years. This shit is just ridiculous.

Laker fans, of all, should not be complaining right now.

They got rid of beasley for free...saved them millers salary
i was under the impression that dealing beasley for nothing is what it was going to take for them to give wade/lebron/bosh all max salaries. maybe i was wrong though.

they have joel anthony who is a good post defender..which is pretty much what they need at center

I say the owners start the lockout this summer. My interest in the NBA is pretty much at zero.

I thought that as well that LeBron/Wade/Bosh x $16.6 million max gave Miami just $1.8 million left. Oh well.

Yet you're reading and posting in an NBA forum. It doesn't sound like your interest is quite at zero.

Well hopefully it will raise the quality of playoff basketball from this last year.

Thanks for noticing, Eric! I'll enjoy the offseason and hope the Blazers make some moves. As for the regular season and the playoffs? Not so much.

In the mirror world, they enjoy a sport in its off-season but avoid it during its season.
