The Bucks announcers made it sound like he got hurt doing a dunk or something.

Dumbass got what he deserved for standing on top of the backboard and rim.

Do you know how much those guys get paid? A guy I know works for the kings and said the kings mascot start at $180,000 a year!

Well I guess the mascot has a mascot now

:drumroll:

I heard we could have traded for him with RLEC and Blaze. Glad we did not do that.

I hate mascots. Except when they get hurt.

A few years ago some hockey mascot caught fire and was rolling around melting the ice. VERY entertaining.

I've been told by a Blazer game-ops employee that Blaze makes six figures....

About 80 percent of the NBA teams, including the Orlando Magic, hire full-time employees to play mascots, with the starting annual salary in the $40,000-$45,000 range, Raymond said. About half of the teams in the other major sports leagues hire full-time workers, and half pay their mascots on a per-game basis, with payment in the $100-$200 per-game range, he added.

Thank you, those six figure salary numbers blew my mind . . . I started goggling Mascot School.

I'd imagine Benny the Bull is the highest paid mascot in the league. He was the national mascot of the year in college before going pro. Now Benny does all sorts of high flying dunks.
