OT: NCAA Tournament

From my understanding theres like a 25-30 min window between each game and thats an usher/guest services issue.

So whats the deal with tickets?
Do you pay for the whole thing, thurs and sat...each game..or 2 games a "session"? Also, did everyone have to clear out from the arena after each game?

You buy tickets in "sessions" of 2 games. At least for the first round you could buy tickets for the morning two games and the afternoon two.

I would think the 2nd round games will be individually and bundled in various packages.

Also, I was there today too. And Western Kentucky has some guys that can flat out shoot the rock. Didn't handle pressure Defense that well, though. Washington looked good all game. Zags looked solid in the second half. After today it looks like Washington will smash Purdue on saturday but the Zags v Hilltoppers game could be interesting depending on which team gets hot at the right time.

I'm not so sure about UW smashing Purdue, the way Purdue won today was how they always win. They never do stuff fancy and blow people out, they just gut it out and they're the type of team that could frustrate UW's inexperience.

Brockman dominated Varnado, didn't he? I was shocked, and Pondexter just looked unreal against the terrible MSU players.

saturday is all one bundle too. i agree that it is weird being in the RG with all of the adverstising covered and that each location looks the same. i kind of like that though, i was talking to someone with UofO and he was complaining that because "they were hosting, we should get to paint the floor green and yellow"...typical duck attitude.

purdue is ok but UW is going to roll them. it might look close on the scoreboard but UW has to many athletes for Purdue to hang with them. the wku/zag game could be interesting but i think GU is much better at closing out on the perimeter. all in all i think the big11 is proving itself to have been a pretty weak conference and not deserving of those 7 bids.

My Jayhawks played well but Ben Woodside was sick today, alot quicker then he looks. Good win.

fridays are always tough for me...ugh if wake goes on to lose, there goes an elite 8 team

btw, please someone tell bj mullens to shave that shit on his face, this isn't 7th grade son..if you can't grow it, don't wear it, that stache is hideous

FSU and OSU killed my bracket tonight. :(

FSU was tough to watch. Wake Forest also killed me. A couple of my friends who picked Arizona are now talking smack because they can beat Cleveland State and get to the sweet 16. I'm 2 overtime losses and a VCU make from being 30-2...

Instead, I'm 27-5 with 3 of my Sweet 16 already done...FSU, Wake and Clemson.

FWIW Clemson will never be clutch, ever. I don't know of another collegiate program in the last 5 years that has tanked in Football and Basketball more times than Clemson U.

Cole Aldrich, 13 Points, 20 Rebounds, 10 Blocks.

Have you checked out the arena that USC and Mich State are playing in. Its bare except the lower bowl. The entire upper sections are completely empty. I guess thats Minnesota for ya - hard to get to and lots of snow.

I think it's because they're playing in the Metro Dome that seats about 65,000. And they've probably split the stadium in half. That could contribute to the empty feeling to it.

About time Marquette takes the lead.

Sienna is breathing down Louisville's neck.

I almost pooped myself this afternoon out of sheer nervousness. I had Louisville winning, Mizzou winning and Michigan State winning but all three games were close down the stretch...ah this time of year is great...

My elite eight is still intact, which means I have a lot of points still in play. I have the Kansas, UConn, Duke, and North Carolina Final Four, so hopefully that pans out (well not...hopefully Mizzou takes down UConn, but I don't think that will happen).

They won't be able play UConn ethier.

Yeah, I still have 12/16 teams in the sweet 16, and all 8 left in my elite 8, but I've been shafted by some very close games this year: VCU, FSU, Ohio State, and Washington were all lost in the dying seconds.

But that's part of the madness I guess.

I've got Louisville winning it all and they have a relatively "easy" road given how their bracket has played out so far.
