OT: Orlando Magic to interview Shaq for GM position

Obviously a last ditch effort to keep Howard around. Shaq would be an atrocious GM. So....

Buchanan or Shaq?

This is why it's a waste of time to worry about who the Blazer GM is (or isn't). If Shaq can be a serious candidate for GM, so can BenDavis503, or the homeless guy he's beating.

^ I miss that guy! He wasn't the FAMS guy was he?

Shaq has his Doctorate.

But seriously, is this the last ditch effort to keep Howard on board?

The first thing I thought when I read this is how pissed Charles will be since he has been lobbying to get a front office job

Semi-related...

This would be an interesting choice for Blazers' coach:

He's one of the top 3 big man coaches I've seen. He made Howard into the player he is, and probably could have made him even better if the team didn't can him. I wonder if Howard would stay if Orlando rehired him.

Howard has always wanted to be Shaq so yeah, this seems like a ploy.

Unless Paul Allen makes Shaq an offer, I'm afraid he won't hire him as our GM. What about Pippen?

I can only imagine the comments here if we were planning on interviewing Shaq or someone similar.

Shaq bent the Magic over pretty well. I don't know why they would entertain this.

Twitter reports are now saying that Shaq "has no interest" in the Orlando GM job.

Huh, go figure. Shaq declined the offer to be interviewed. Said he wasn't that interested.

Their owner must be moving them to seattle too.
