Plane crashed in Hudson river!!!

Woah, hope we can get an update on this soon. It probably isn't the Blazers since they are on "west-coast time", and thus supposedly fly later in the evening but...hmm. Hope everyone is alright.

The story is on every new york TV channel right now . . . Everyone seems to have survived, which is amazing.

What the heck are you talking about? The Blazers are in N.J. right now, getting ready to play the Nets.

Not only that, the Blazers fly in Paul Allen's private plane, not an Airbus A320 commercial passenger jet.

They said it was barely moving when it crashed, so the pilots were probably able to set it down in the water without damaging the plane excessively. Even still, it's a miracle everyone survived.

Also on the game this morning they said that they saved an hour of travel time by bussing from Philly last night instead of flying. They were in their hotel before midnight last night.

Also HCP probably wouldn't be posting on the topic because he'd be on a boat in the Hudson river...

Man, I've been following this story, it's just amazing. I have pilots in my family, and a private pilot license myself, and I can safely say these pilots did an incredible job. The room for error at not clipping the wings is very small, and would have been devasting if it had happened. The pilots are heroes, IMO.
