Rose Quarter is the only option.

The wheels are already in motion for the post office site in the Pearl - A cluster of high-rises are being planned.

Im the meantime where would they play?

Providence Park is too small. Maybe share Seattle's CenturyLink Park?

I'm actually proud of the stance Portland took regarding pro sports teams. These billionaire owners use other cities as leverage so they can take levy stadium finding and take the public to brown town. It's disgusting. There is no way that would happen here. Although, I will be first to admit, I don't blame Davis for wanting out of O.co Coliseum. That place is a dump. Will be interesting to see where they end up.

Where specifically?

The RQ is not the only option.

Industrial NW on the river is the better option. It would anchor future development.
If they build the Delta Dome like they planned many years ago Portland would have had an NFL team for a reasonable price. But the locals f-cked that up too. The politicians here are as bad as New York.

Oakland is gonna get 100m to start a new stadium.

They aren't moving, they ARE the Bay Area team now that the Niners moved, foolish to move from that media hotbed.

they're welcome to keep them.

Yes. But it would be nice to light a fire under the entitled Seattle sports scene that assumes everybody here in Portland follows the Mariners and Seahawks. We all don't and never will!

The Raiders will have the option to share a stadium with the Rams in Inglewood, Cal. if the Chargers decide to stay in San Diego. However, the Chargers get up to a year to decide so it would be next summer if the Raiders left.

I believe the chargers have the option to share with the Rams.

Yes. The Chargers get the first option. What I am saying is, if they decline, then the Raiders get the chance to share with the Rams instead.
Ahhhhhh I gotcha. What are your thoughts? I think the Chargers will move because their owner is a cheapskate from what I've heard.

Could go either way. They get 100 Mil if they don't go. Owner said he is going to take couple months to decide. I bet he goes. Wish they wouldn't though. SD is big enough to support a team and needs to have one imo.

It would be easier to get to Autzen than CLP.
I doubt this ever happens, but if we were to get a team, I think Autzen would make logical sense as a home while their stadium is built. The Chicago Bears played for a season in Champiagn, IL, home of University of Illinois, while Soldier Field was being renovated. And it's similar, about 2 hours south of Chicago.

I'm sure you could find a way to add a few thousand seats to Providence. If not, then Corvallis or Eugene.

I always thought the spot just north of the Ross island bridge would've been perfect for a stadium. Then they built that damn science building and max station

Would LOVE to see a team in Portland. A Portland-Seattle NFL rivalry would be the best in the NFL in a matter of years.
Switch the LA Rams to the AFC west and our Portland team to the NFC west!

Yup easily. There's only like what? 8 home games a year ? And games are once a week, the drive to Eugene would be easy for these die hard Portlanders.. Autzen would be perfect it's the biggest stadium in the state

Green Box = Field
Red/White Box = Stadium
Gray Boxes = Parking Garages
Orange Box = Some type of Concourse
Green Lines = Roads (Some are already there)
Yellow Lines = On/Off Ramps for Bridge

Make the Orange box a parking garage and the small gray box at the bottom a concourse that combines with Moda Center and you have a beautiful rose quarter.
