Is it time for Bull's fans to accept they won't have their MVP like Blazer fans did with Roy? How many times he's been hurt this season? Missed almost 3 years!

I think it maybe time to cut the chord on this guy. He may come back and play way more years, but it seems any little thing gets into his head. He won't be that explosive player, always wondering if he's going to get hurt again.

It's a domino effect with Rose.

If it's not one thing it's another.

He's signed through the 2016-17 season at a little over 20 mil each year. Jerry Reinsdorf is a notorious penny pincher and will not cut him.

Then trade him. I'm sure a team would be willing to gamble on him for expiring contracts

Why cut him? They owe him the 40 million either way, and he's still effective when he does play (which admittedly, is not much). The only thing they gain from it is a useless roster space.

What they should do though, is stop viewing him as the franchise. He obviously can't stay healthy, and it's probably mental as much as it's physical. Tonight the official diagnosis is "hamstring tightness". A guy like Kobe would just play through it, but clearly Rose is too concerned about his whole career going belly up to return.

It's not just roster space. It's turning the page. If he stays on the team, there will always be "rose is the face of the franchise"

Not really. All it takes is a mindshift within internal management. Maybe not with the fans, but they're not running the team anyways.

Dude is done as a top player in the NBA. He is basically going to need to rethink his whole style of play if he wants to help his team.

Whatever the case it sucks for Chicago fans. We as Blazer fans know all too well on the "wait and hope" with their star players.

They are my eastern fav team... I hope one day this injury shit is over with him. I have big doubt though

Yeah it really sucks. The fans here in Chicago are beyond frustrated.

Just hug them and say "I can relate, remember Greg Oden and Brandon Roy?"

Reassure them that good does come from the ashes!

Both Rose and Westbrook won't have long careers. They go way too hard all the time. Guys like Lillard and Curry are going to be playing ball for years because they play the game in cruise control. Only accelerating when the opportunity is there.

Parker is kinda the same as well

I agree with Thibbs, play Rose and play him now.let him .earn a check, if you get injured so be it..that's why you're insured to the hilt. Insurance probably pays for a large chunk of his salary when he's down. Rose ain't getting younger. I don't think he'll ever regain his old form again. Now he looks scared on the court

Have the Bulls already used their amnesty? It seems like Rose is done. Another flash in the pan career.

Rose was always my favorite Golden Girl.

Saw this years ago. He was never skilled enough to make a come back. He always rode athleticism over skill. Just like Roy it was never going to work out for him after his first major injury.

Rose's contract was signed under the new CBA. The Bulls couldn't have used amnesty on him if they had it available.

Roy relied on his athleticism? Yah no...

Bring him in as the sixth man like we did with Kaman, less minutes would hopefully make him last longer.
