I love the obsession with Rubio on this board! Thank you!

The fans who are saying Rubio is unimpressive are pretty dim. The guy hasn't played in 9 months and is still getting back in game shape. You are complete idiots for judging him now. Especially Kingspeed. You don't watch much basketball do you?
 
Rubio is shooting 20% from the field.....seems pretty consistent with last years shooting.

Rubio 3.3ppg, 4.5apg with a 4.97 per

Ronnie price 2.8 ppg, 2.0 apg with a 5.35 per

Price and a 2nd for Rubio?

Rubio gives us more potential as a future backup PG to lillard.

You guys are the ones who said "Wait til Rubio comes back." Remember when you said the Wolves would win 50+ games? I'm sure I watch more basketball than you do. I know garbage when I see it. Rubio has had tons of time to recover and rehab. He's just not that good. He's certainly not a star, nor will he ever be.

if rubio doesnt get his lateral quickness back to pre injury levels, he is basically sergio rodruigez...with a worse shot

better hurry up and give him that 5 year max though :lol:

He'll be a star in a few weeks? Doubt it. He's garbage. Can't get ahead of Ridnour in the rotation. I wouldn't trade Nolan Smith for him. Smith has more upside.
 
I'd be interested in Rubio as a backup...he's still young...something like Pavlovic and a future 2nd rounder seems fair

50 wins, that's out of the question. Kevin Love being a big baby will derail that. Enough wins to make the 8th seed in probably the toughest conference in the history of basketball will due.

I don't think it's out of the question, however, the playoffs aren't a sure thing either. The Lakers aren't going to suck all season long, same with Dallas (getting dirk back). And Utah ain't too shabby either.

Imho, of the bottom 5 teams (8-12), I think it's asking a lot for Minnesota or Portland to remain ahead of the other 3. Especially the Lakers and Dallas.

btw, kingspeed, could his poor game have been due to having the not playing flu?

8-12, it will be a nail biter in my opinion for all those teams to see who makes the play offs. Minnesota and Portland. I like Minny chances because of all the injuries and this team is still around .500. Kevin love just needs to show up and play some defense.

If Kevin Love ever shows up. Wolves could maybe pull off 50 wins. Rubio does need to recover faster. he's maybe 80 percent. Really missing Bud. The wolves 3 pt. shooting is beyond atrocious.
