OT: Shaq cracks me up

Dude has a great personality, but he's a douche on the bball court.

...Not anywhere near KG though. That guy is the king of douche.

In the last Suns/Heat game this year in Miami, he knocked Wade to the floor and stood over him Ali-Liston style for no reason. Most people booed, he's a great player but he burns bridges with his teammates and the Front Office wherever he goes. Funny dude though sometimes.

I thought he was black

The first time I remember hearing "maroon" in place of "moron" was in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I don't know exactly when the cartoon was created but it was probably in the 1950s or even earlier.

The author will have to tell us his reference for the term :).

I'm among the group that thinks Shaq is a funny/nice guy off the court.

You know people bitch about players being nasty on the court, while I would love to have nasty players on the court here in Portland. It's purely one of those situations where because they aren't on Portland, folks rip on them for what they do. But if they were doing it here, they would be loved for it.

I respect Shaq as a player the same way I respect Jordan.

Bugs bunny FTW! Love that old school term.
