This time in Indiana. Game not over, but it looks like Phoenix owns Indiana even more than they own us.

Fry, Tucker. Green, Dragic, Morris twins, Plumlee, Len, and more all playing at high level.

Hornacek must be a helluva coach. I don't see much defense on that team, a lot of tweeners and they're all playing over their heads. He's a lock for COY.

I'd hardly say Len is playing at a high level.

After that first game everybody on here thought we were lottery bound.

Totally. I was thinking Phoenix would barely scratch 20-25 wins this season. They've surpassed that.

I wouldn't go that far. Some of us thought it was just one game, and that the freaking out that night was an overreaction.

That said, can't this be put in the NBA Thread?

The Morris twins are something else. Their bench doesn't let them down and their odd offense with Frye taking the opposing big men out of the paint drives traditional lineups batty.

Phoenix is one of those annoying scrappy teams that Nate McMillan would love. They play hard. They rebound. They can shoot. They're not world beaters, but they're good enough to beat anyone. Not sure why so few people expected them to do well this season. I knew they were going to be decent just from watching their guys in the summer league.

Summer league? Really?

Classic jinx thread.

It's best if PHX loses this game, though.

Summer league? Really?

It was virtually their entire team minus Dragic and Bledsoe. Even Horny was coaching. They played the exact same brand of basketball during the summer that they're playing right now :dunno:

PJ Tucker and the Morris twins were the only guys on the SL team that get meaningful minutes on the real squad.

That's a pretty major part of our their team though. Who did we have on the summer league team?

Leonard? Not in the rotation.

Barton? Not in the rotation.

Claver? Who?

Only CJ and TRob are in our rotation from summer league.

Our SL team wasn't very good. Not sure what that has to do with our conversation though.

Who do we want to win tonight? Clippers or Warriors.

Warriors!! Clippers are sneaking up to us in the standings.

I wonder if their teammates can tell those two apart. Do they ever switch jerseys just for fun?

Not me. I was one of the few that actually thought Phoenix was a good team.

I can vouch for NateBishop. He was talking up Phoenix after they beat us in preseason.
