In terms of superstars this is as unbalanced as the East/West has ever been.

And--if the reports are to be believed--Joel Przybilla!

I think if anything, it's finally even. AND i left off aging stars like Timmy, Ginobili, Dirk as well as guys like Parker, Roy, Yao

Oh, Zach Randolph might be joining the Magic, too.

Superstar's don't win Championships, Good Teams do. I still think the West is Better Overall.

Good teams...built around superstars.

I think that the last 1/3 of the season will see the east have a better overall record H2H v the west, and I think the East's top 4 teams are better than the West's.

I'm thrilled to see so much talent moving east. The Blazers only have to play those teams twice each season and not at all in the playoffs until the finals. More All-Star spots open up for Blazer players and a better shot at a longer post-season run. I hope we see more moves like Melo and Williams.

A superstar alone doesn't win a team a championship, better? Hell there's two maybe three on Miami and their not the favorite.

My point is just because the East has more stars doesn't mean their better now than the West who has stronger Teams overall.

What matters (IMO) is who has stronger elite teams, and right now, that's the East. Mainly because they have more superstars.

The East HAS good teams. Bulls, Heat, and Celtics are legit contenders. Bulls haven't been healthy. With Noah coming back, they are for real. Never mind Orlando, only two years removed from a Finals appearance,

This isn't the NFL.

Championships are won by superstars in this league, not role players.

The culling of the West herd means SA, LA and DAL will be able to sleepwalk through the first round and rest their players. Whichever team ends up in the Finals will be fresher than the usual West team beat to shit from the gauntlet they just ran.
