I want Miami to break the record. As was said, fuck all things Lakers. What's amazing is that they might have a near 40 game win streak and they still won't win 70 games. Too bad they sucked at the beginning of the season.

I think the streak is great. There's really nothing to motivate the Heat to compete until the playoffs except for securing home court in the Finals. Adds a lot of tension to Heat games.

I've watched several of these games, and it really doesn't feel like the fix is in from the refs. Sure, they benefit from a few superstar calls (and even that is enough to probably have kept the streak going by winning a couple games they shouldn't) but overall the Heat are just a really excellent team.

And extremely unconventional. Quite often they'll run LeBron at PG, Wade at SG, Ray Allen at SF, Battier at PF, and Bosh at C. How the hell are you supposed to match up with that? You have 4 guys playing out of position. It shouldn't work, but LeBron is so great that it somehow does.

The thing is, really was only a matter of time before the Heat figured how good they really are. They have the best player in the game, they have Wade (who might not be as good as he was, but he's still amazing) and they have Bosh. I can only imagine how good this team would have been if Wade was three or four years younger.
