I would ask what the hell SA is doing . .. but after years of watching SA constantly be a top tier team, even as their star players phase out . . . I no longer question the Spurs organization, I just admire from afar.

Why? He's horrible these days and his contract is up. I imagine Pop got rid of him because he's become a bit of a cancer in the locker room, and he's not due any money after this year. May as well cut the clown.

Zero. Jackson is a FA this summer. Why pick up his contract now? All it would do would be to add to payroll and mean you cut someone on the roster.

Jackson is 35, with an 8.1 PER and a bad attitude. Yep, sounds EXACTLY like what every rebuilding team needs.

There is absolutely zero reasons to pick up Jackson. He doesn't fit the culture with his questionable character. If he was an above average player; then maybe we take a risk. At this stage; he is a shell of his self and he's old too.

It's weird that he's in his mid thirties and still has character issues.
