Sorry, the thread topic was not supposed to have Beavers in it. Could somebody change that for me.
 
yeah doesnt seem to be much traffic over there. I watched the game on the free stream from their site... good fun!
 
Does the MSL soccer preseason have the same feel and importance as the NBA one? Were each teams stars playing or does this mean nothing? SOunds like the fans were going at it!
 
The fans always go at it. ECS did their usual douchebaggery throwing crap at Perkins (the Timbers keeper) MLS Pre-season is pretty irrelevant as its more about just getting people in shape to go for the full 90 minutes when it counts. And you have PDL teams and Amateur teams that they play against to get them experience. But Cascadia Matches are a different story. Obviously bigger matches like Regular season, playoffs, or Cup matches that mean something are even bigger. But Pre-season Cascadia seems to be like other MLS Regular season matches.

Maybe one day I'll get into it. I do think it's very cool we have a team in Portland. Go Timbers!
