Said they had 10 "stat geeks" working for them with the Blazers, and how Paul Allen always wanted as much data as possible. Interesting discussion for any any Stat Geeks.

Turned it off after some geek said a Luol Deng for Aldridge trade would benefit both teams.

Before LA decided to play in the post and Oden became crippeled again I could see that happening.

The TV background was filled with the nerdiest nerds I've ever seen in one place. It's the Comic Con for stat geeks, except instead of being dressed like superheroes, they were all dressed like a Sears' ad during suit sale week.

Denny tried that idea

No one bought it because people (like me) correctly said Aldridge had untapped potential while Deng is just a nice SF. Bad trade before, horrible trade now.

I wouldn't have done it but I could defiantly have see why the FO would have especially in the 2007-2008 season when it looked like we could make a very deep run.
