Why oh why did we trade him?

10 efficient points tonight. We could've used that last night. This really sucks. Miller and Camby are fine but in a couple years, they'll retire and TO will be an All Star and Blake will be the best back up PG in the league.

If we don't make the playoffs and beat the Lakers, the Camby deal was a bad trade. If we beat the Lakers, I will get a Camby jersey.

Problem is Outlaw's shot selection could be beyond terrible at times, and his defense was always suspect. A lot of times Outlaw just looked like he didn't know what he was doing out there and really need to take a seat on the bench because it obviously wasn't his night, yet he would always play down the stretch in games.

It wasn't pretty last night for Miller but the fact was he was forced into a lot of bad outside shots by his teammates. Everyone doesn't want him to shoot them but what is he supposed to do with 5 secs left on the shot clock and no one else wants to take the shot? You'd have a point if he was firing them up with 14 secs left in the shot clock, but there are always 3-4-5 times a game where he is forced to take those shots.

those end of the clock shots were TO's specialty. As opposed to most of the roster, Miller can create his own look but Travis is obviously a far superior bail out option.

With Batum emerging as the clear best option starting SF, I'd have much rather traded Martell who has never shown much ability to get it done off the bench. Of course the Clips may not have wanted him for Camby. Oh well...

Cunningham has shown he can hit that mid-range shot with consistency and shows a high BBIQ.

I disagree that his numbers are "hollow." His scoring is about as valuable the numbers suggest. He just doesn't add a lot of rebounds, assists, etc, which are reflected in the numbers.

Rudy is an ISO player? His crappy year, imho, is because he does a lot more of it instead of just shooting the open jumper as he did last year.

JB is an ISO player, actually, at this point, he is either ISON or ISOFF. But, hopefully, consistency will come.

At the end of the day Travis had a very, very valuable skill - getting his shot no matter how hard it is, no matter how broken the play is, and hitting it at a good clip. We are going to miss that, and have been for quite some time. There is a reason the Blazers were so good finishing games last year and even the year before - but are so mediocre this year. When the defensive intensity increases and plays break - we are more often than not end with a Miller clang...

Agree with that. I can't even count the number of times I've yelled "Shoot it" when Rudy has the ball in a spot to shoot, then he "drives" - and I use that term loosely - into a crappier shot/pass... Even if he's missing, he needs to take the open 3's when he sees them...I mean, they can't be too much worse than Miller's 3's, right?

That's a fairly good line. Kudos.

Rudy is absolutely not an ISO player. He's almost the opposite. His role comes either in being assisted or in assisting others. He doesn't have the handles to isolate and break down a defender one-on-one.
