not trying to shoot this thread down... I just dont see what you are trying to point out.. did he have a big game or something?

gotcha. Sorry carry on people :)

Blair has a 14.7 PER and a WS of 1.0 for one of the better teams in the league. What is odd is that he starts for the Spurs, but plays only 20 mpg. Either he is off to a slow start, or teams have scouted him and helped offset his obvious rebounding strengths.

Blair has been pretty bad this year if I remember correctly.

Blair's PER was hovering around 2 after the first couple weeks of the season and the small-sample size morons were declaring his career over. He's obviously been playing better lately to pull his PER up to a respectable 14.7 and the Spurs have won 11 in a row with him as their starting PF.

He had a slow start, that's all. It happens.

He's a solid role player. People shouldn't expect great things from him, but just enjoy him for what he is.

I love his game. He reminds me of what Bass did with Dallas...... wow has he disapeared in Orlando or what?

I'm kind of impressed by the 104-out-of-104 games played. No one on our team can say that right now.

I was pissed when Portland passed on him for Pendergraph and Cunningham. Could go either way at this point

I was pissed when we passed on him for Claver. Still am. This team needed a solid back-up power forward much more than yet another euro-stash. Still does.
