I admit that Utah's start took me by surprise, but looking at their schedule to open the season, it really doesn't anymore.

Thus far, out of Utah's 18 games, 12 have been at home. Over the next four games, three more are at home.

So, 1/3 of the way through their season, they will have played 15 home games, and only 7 road games.

With the next 3 out of 4 day stretch coming up of PDX/LAC/@GS, and then LAL one day later, I think they're going to crash hard soon.

For comparison, after 22 games, Portland will have played 11 home games, and 11 road games.

And Utah hasn't really had one of those 5 games in 7 nights stretch. When they win on the road and on one of those; then maybe they are for real. We gotta smash them on Monday. Make a statement!

All Utah can do is try to win the games in front of them. They've done that fairly well. Notably, they won in Denver, the second best team in the West and they destroyed the Clippers. Good for them.

Almost lost to the Kings. Hope we bring it Monday. It's always tough to win there.

I didn't think that they were going to fall off like some had predicted. They have a lot of size and some good role players to fill various needs. It wouldn't surprise me if they keep up the day that they've been playing.

Theyll fall off, no way they keep winning at there rate, but it might not be a huge drop off. Winning like they did gives a young team a lot of confidance. Wouldnt terribly surprise me if they sneak in at the seven or eight seed but they wont be playing for HC.

Shit, I thought they'd win 25 games this season!

Jazz lost at NO tonight.

14-13 now, and 3-6 since I started this thread after they beat Sacto in Utah, with a very tough schedule ahead.

DONE

According to some on here they were a great team just 2 weeks ago. Wonder if this season will have a way of evening everything out?

Chris Kaman! 27 & 13 tonight. Glad I picked him up on fantasy last week

4-10 since this thread was created. :MARIS61:

Who the hell cares about Utah and their schedule? I thought this was a Blazer forum. Guess I'm wrong.

They were ahead of Portland in the standings at the time, getting a lot of run on this very forum, and I saw them crashing soon. It's called predictive analysis for a division rival, and the analysis proved to be correct.

Don't like the thread, don't fucking comment on it. It clearly says "OT" in the title. Cat piss in your Cheerios today?

There are about 6 pretend GM trades alone of the front page right now. Sorry if I actually wanted to discuss reality involving a division rival, and not make believe trades that have almost no chance of happening.

Don't mind threads about other teams on here, this is Blazer related if you think about it. What I don't like is my thread about a license plate moved off the main page!

Yeah, that was one important thread...

Very prophetic post. They definitely appear to be heading down in a hurry. Denver has also had quite the collapse after a great start. They were annihilated at home last night by the Spurs team we'd run out of the building the night before. Obviously Parker and Duncan played, but they gave up 28 points to Blair and actually did worse against the SA bench that we had no issues with.

Without Gallinari and a healthy Nene' (arguably their two best players) a fall-off isn't all that surprising. Them's the breaks.

Yea but when they get gallo back and nene.... They will start winning again. Also zach will be back with grizz soon. All things really hurting our playoff hopes. Also the rockets have a cake walk the last 2 months. Our march is brutal.

So if one thinks about it, Utah, Portland, Denver and Phoenix have all had collapses after good starts.

What does this tell us?
