Lol. Fair enough. But I have to say that the talk about how the uniforms will look against the blue turf is pretty funny. I'm pretty sure I'd think that no matter what the team, but maybe I'm just too biased to ever see the light of day.
I pick the Smurf Turf to always win over the Ducks. My buddy--whose a BSU alum--told me that at least a few times a year they have to clean up dead ducks because they dive bombed the field thinking it was a pond.
In terms of football, however, I have to go with U of O.
Damn it. If it's that common, I want video. Put a danged camera on the field 24/7 until they can give me a video. Are they afraid a video will fire up PETA so that PETA launches an assault against the smurf turf?
I remember I wanted to go to UofO when i was a junior in HS. I went to a tour of OSU and I said to my dad before going, "i heard that some days you can smell the cow shit all over campus." He tells me, that's just a bunch of lies and exagerrations. The day has gone by and no smell, we get into one of the newer engineering labs and my dad leans over and says "can you smell the cow shit now?" I admit my fault.
Then the spring came.
And in some ways he was right, there was no cow shit smell, because we have sheep farms right by campus. So yes, you can smell that once in a while, just like when you go into the barns at the county/state fair.
Boise State is tough at home... that is for sure... and being that they only really need to win one tough game per year and then they can coast through the rest of the season...

These ducks, it turns out, have really good eyesight. They can spot details on the ground from several hundred feet in the air. This helps them to avoid predators, spot food and locate mate. Since ducks like to fly around in groups, being able to see a fellow duck is a positive ability. Ducks also see in color. In fact, ducks have better color discrimination than people. This is why duck decoys are painted and have lots of fine details: ducks can see them well enough not to be fooled by a sloppy decoy.
Remember the thursday night game against Arizona?
I try not to. Thanks.
Ducks will not win out...
But they will beat Boise St.
I agree, but I think an 11-2 season is possible depending on injuries. If Masoli/Blount are healthy for the year (big IF) then I definitely see us winning double digits again.
But then again, I don't know enough about this team this year and they may be vastly overrated and just be average. But I hope to God its not like that. That is why today is so important.
GO QUACKS!

12-1.. This is the year we finally Take Out Cal!![]()
Should have kept Tedford.
Oregon looks like shit. The offense sucks, and the defense isn't much better.
They do look rusty, but there is plenty of time left and they do have explosive athletes. But the defense needs to stop these short passes.
What is Boise's completion percentage? It has to be astronomical.
That would be almost better than those damn Onion rolls that Williams Bakery would bake next to my dorm at U of O. OMG that would stink.
I remember that! (Tingle Hall, FWIW)Me said:But then again, I don't know enough about this team this year and they may be vastly overrated and just be average.
