I'd have to say Joakim Noah.

He's been a beast on the boards and defense.....along with a smattering of offense....and, IMO, one of the reasons the Bulls are tied with the Celts right now.

Without looking into too much, I'd say Von Wafer must be up there.

Yeah, I could agree with that. As well, though, I believe he had raised the level of his play as the season progressed.

Good Ol' Noah. He could retire now and have something 95% of basketballs players don't have.

A ponytail :dunno:

j/k Noah isn't a scrub, guy is pretty legit shotblocker and plays with passion

I want to say Shannon Brown & his 3pt shooting barrage....

I guess I haven't watched him enough, then. He's always been a scrub in my book.

Epic reply. and I can agree with Shannon.

Ever seen him in college, crazy good. He's gonna be a glue guy in his career never a 20/10 guy.

Noah is a good high energy defensive C that should end up like Camby. His passing is very underrated as he was a PG when he was a frosh in HS then he grew like a foot in the next year, sometimes he needs to tone down his intensity to prevent getting fouls though.

Noah's not a scrub. He's a legit force in this league. I wish Oden was as good as him.

I'd take Noah on my team anyday of the week. Dude is a fuckin Champ, literally.

He plays with a lot of energy. That energy has contributed to putting him in good situations. He may not be a scrub, but he's role all the way. I also believe that Greg's injuries/weight have affected his inability to play with a higher level of energy.

Noah is the type of player we need. A guy with a motor. For such a close knit team with good chemistry, it is odd to me that we don't have a player who fits that kind of role. If there was anybody who fit this role on the team I would say Batum. I have been impressed with Noah's play these playoffs. Also, while definitely not a scrub, Rondo has definitely stepped up his game.

No. Joel is that guy. Joel killed on the glass in the second half of GAme 4. Unfortunately, he threw that one rebound away. But he still had a great game. 12 rebounds when we really needed them. We need it again tomorrow.

Gotta be Michael Ruffin.

The Ruffin Man is averaging a phenomenal 1 board a minute in the playoffs!

He's played in only 1 game, and we've won only 1 game.

They weren't the same game, but there's got to be a correlation in there somewhere.

Are you sure about that? I've never heard that about Joakim Noah.

Tyrus Thomas was 6' throughout most of high school, and played point guard in high school.

good grief...:blahblah: with the hyperbole

remember just a couple months back when Noah fouled out in 17 flailing minutes looking completely overmatched trying to guard Greg? It looked like the JV vs the Varsity.

I've always liked Noah's potential as I like active Bigs who defend/board, but I'm pretty happy with the way things worked out.

Noah's like the friggin' energizer bunny. Dude's everywhere! His offensive rebounds have been so timely in this series. I'll admit, I had thought he was a scrub. I am wrong, Way wrong. He's been a big key for the Bulls.

BTW, Brad Miller ain't been too bad, either.

Any big can look good against a team whose 3rd and 4th bigs are Brian Scalabrine and Mikki Moore.

Brad Miller is a very good player. He's always been a good rebounder and perhaps the best passing big man in the league for the last several years. I remember on Sacramento a few years ago, when Miller was leading the team in assists (with like 5.5/pg) for most of the year...more than Bibby, the team's PG. Of course Bonzi Wells was outrebounding him...the year before he turned down a big contract extension and ended up taking far less as a free agent.

Miller can shoot threes and due to his free throw shooting makes him great to be in at the end of the game. I'm honestly surprised that he doesn't start over Noah, although the Bull's rotation is clearly working for him and I'm sure he is a catalyst offensively off the bench.

Miller is no scrub. Considering the fact that he justified me picking him in the 2ND ROUND of my NBA Fantasy draft...3 years ago maybe, show he's no scrub. He was quietly among the best centers in this league for a bit, due to his all-around game. So it's not surprising to see him do well.

Talk about a great trade for the Bulls, getting Miller and Salmons mid-season without losing much.
