GSW was doing fine when Mullin was given the F/O spot. He got them some good players, he got Nellie to coach (and when Nellie coaches, he can still be pretty good). What Nellie did to them was decide that he wants to play GM as well, threw Mullin under the bus and decided that as a de-facto GM and coach he can do as he pleases.

sorry, but you're blaming the wrong guy. Cohan and his right hand man team President Robert Rowell are the main villains in usurping Mully according to the local press. Nellie is the name the general public recognises and for a 2nd time has fallen on Cohan's sword of cheapness & meddling. Having lived in the Bay Area now for most of Cohan's ownership era makes me feel so lucky to be a Blazer fan.
