Nod to Les Boulez, while making me think they should be sporting the Hogwarts colors.

Changing the name of the team was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen a professional franchise make.

props.. these are great

I really like them! Maybe I might just go out from my traditional "ONLY BLAZERS" jerseys for this one. Maybe I will find a role player, so it's not like I'm a fan of a player.

Wizards is just as stupid of a name as the Lakers or Jazz... names that mean nothing to their respective cities.

I grew up a Cubs fan, but that didn't stop me from rocking a red, white and blue Expos cap back in the day.

Man I loved the Expos when I was a kid... I was actually really bummed that we didn't get them to move here.

It was the ONLY non-Cubs hat I had growing up - and I bought it at Wrigley Field.

Never had an A's hat, but they were my second favorite team back in the 70s. Charlie Finley lived about 10 miles form where I grew up. I got to visit his place a couple times as my dad knew someone who worked for him. It was pretty wild, with peacocks and monkeys. Finley was quite a character.

Agree, both teams should have changed their names, the Jazz made sense in New Orleans, same for the Lakers in Minneapolis. I'm not sure what they should have been, but I have a few thoughts.................

Those uni's are FRESH!!!! I love 'em! I like how they and the 76ers last season have now gone retro!

The Stormin' Mormons and the EarthQuakes!

"Wizards" is still better than "Bobcats." And the Unis are better too.

The Lakers are too famous a franchise/brand to change the name. It adds to it, so I don't think it's a stupid name. A stupid name is the Toronto Raptors (named after Jurassic Park), they need to go back to the Huskies. Same with the New Jersey Nets (to rhyme with the Mets and Jets). New Orleans Jazz sounds awesome.

Salt Lake City Saints

Los Angeles Stars

Ironically, there was an ABA team called the Los Angeles Stars that moved to Utah and became the Utah Stars.

Since the team is going to see major changes this summer, this is the perfect time for the Lakers to change their name. How about the Deserts? Or the Cacti. Or just, the Media Favorites.

Changing the name of the team was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen a professional franchise make.

Abe Pollin was a really good, decent man. He felt that the name "Bullets" in (at the time) the city called "The Murder Capital of the World" was inappropriate. It was a heartfelt, not a marketing decision.

I remember when they held a contest in the Washington Posts to rename the Bullets, asking us to select among the four finalist names. The other three "finalist" names were so bad, it was obvious what they wanted to name the team. My friends and I decided to vote for the very worst name because the contest was so transparent. That name? The Washington Sea Dogs. I kid you not.

Changing the name was still stupid. Who cares if its filled with violence. Like changing the name of the NBA franchise will change that at all. No one cared.

Washington Wizards sounds like a damned board game.

how bout a list of worst jerseys in the NBA.

1. Thunder ( i feel the logo lacks inspiration and so do their jerseys. Seems like they rushed them as quickly as they rushed out of Seattle)
2. Bobcats

Bullets still fly with quite frequency in east DC...

The OKC Thunder and Charlotte Bobcats honestly sound like WNBA teams
