OT: Your thoughts on Howard's hit on Pierce

Watch every Celtic big man during the game....they piss Howard off...Stuff like this is going to happen when you constantly fuck with the biggest/strongest guy in the NBA...if Howard wanted to hurt Pierce...he could have.

If that's the case, isn't it a pussy move on his part to take it out on a non-big man? If he's pissed at Perkins, let him hit Perkins.

I don't think Howard was really that "pissed" anyway. He could be seen joking and laughing with fans when they were down 4 with like a minute left.

This reminds me of the infamous night The Mailman got sick of the Piston's dirty play, and leveled Isiah. People whined "why did he hit Thomas, why didn't he take out one of their big men?"

The answer was real simple: if he had decked Lamebutt or Rodman - no one would have cared! Taking out Isiah sent a message that couldn't be ignored.

Well the opportunity presented itself to take a shot at their best scorer and he took advantage. ...its hard to foul the hell out of someone that isn't going to put themselves in a vulnerable situation and NOT get suspended for it. If he just took a shot at KG or Perkins it would be way too obvious because either of those guys are going to jump high and put themselves in a vulnerable position like I said before. Im assuming he wanted to take out some aggression on Pierce but he might just be really fuckin strong and happened to knock the shit out of Pierce while actually going for the ball...:tsktsk:

What does KG have to do with Howard? They don't guard each other unless it's in transition or a switch.

Rough day at work? Lol.

An amusing post on your part, if not just for the fact that you inferred all this nonsense.

You're awfully serious all of a sudden, I wasn't. When did I say they both guard Howard?

~Do I have to separate my points with bullets from now on?
~Chill out.

I was responding to this soft reputation. I didn't think it would be hard for you to follow. I do not care one bit what KG does. I just added some extra criticism at the end, for absolutely no reason. I don't see you call out CK with his randomness eh.

You know, I posted this in the Blazers forum because I wanted intelligent responses. If I wanted to read a bunch of meaningless trash like this, I would have posted in your Laker forum.

Ah you're sooo refined. I'll be careful never to question KG again.

Nothing wrong with some trash talk, I thought that was your motto? You don't complain about foul calls, but then you do. And now this? You're off man.

I thought you would be more secure with your team. Oh well. :]

Absolutely, I'm all for lighting up a fellow opponent occasionally. I love playoff fouls.

Interesting story.

Yawn. He intentionally didn't come down hard, in fact he didn't come down hard at all.

Even more interesting: before that head injury when he hit the hardwood, Isaiah was a GENIUS at salary cap and talent scouting... if only New York had hired *that* Zeke Thomas... :ghoti:

Wouldn't be shocked. He's still coaching too, here in Miami...

...a whole lot of nonsense...
All you ever do is try to turn every thread into a endless debate about nothing. It doesn't matter what you say because you will say anything just for the sake of arguing.

Was I talking to you, or CelticKing?

If I want to joke with CK I will, don't tell me who I can speak with.
