Civil War and Blazers should get lots of national run today. Lots of Civil War talk already.

And according to Gavin, they're going to permanently put to rest the idea that Oden is a bust. That should be interesting. I hope they start taking some calls......assuming any one cares enough to call in.
 
I thought CIP was supposed to host the show? Why is Gavin doing all the talking?
 
Is Magic Johnson really going to be on the show? I hope they're not hyping something up that will be an epic letdown.
 
I hope all of this Oregon talk is annoying the crap out of the rest of the country. :ghoti:

I'm certain plenty of people outside of Oregon have already turned this off. In to the 2nd hour, and the only hint of a national topic is 30 seconds of Heisman talk that parlayed in to Masoli possibly being a Heisman candidate. lol

I've been listening for five minutes and even I'm already sick of the Oregon talk.

This is my greatest disappointment with their effort so far. Instead of circuitous and repetetive babbling, they should be taking some calls. "Clone" calls to CIP would be infinitely more entertaining than anything "The People's Champ" has to say.

I think it's their intention to take some calls, but people have to call in for the segment to work, and I have a feeling they're getting serious crickets right now. They should be reading way more email as well. I agree with you, btw - taking calls would be much more entertaining. I'm tired of the Ducks/Beavers talk, but then again, I'm not a fan of either team, so.....

Considering how polarizing Chad is in "The Jungle", I imagine that the phone lines were full as early as 9:02. I doubt there's a dearth of callers.

Well, if this wasn't a holiday week, and the day before a major holiday, you might be right. I think listenership is way down today anyway. Hence CIP and Gavin even getting the nod.

Well, they didn't shit the bed, but it wasn't very entertaining. Handing the mic to a Clone is an interesting idea in theory, but eh.....could have been much better.
 
Fuck, somebody actually listens to those two dipshits? Weren't they the two that started the ripping on Roy? F them.
 
I tuned it for the Clone Calls and they really only took calls from the State of Oregon. I don't know if that was planned or that they were the only people still listening. I thought it was great that they hyped up the NW so much, fuck the national media even giving us 5 minuets. They got 3 hours of it today, no matter how annoying it may have been. Imagine being at work in NY being forced to listen to that, lol.
