lol...i was just about to edit my post with... TIME TO GET KIRK FROM CHICAGO.

I think theres a very good chance we do make a deal to egt kirk with this news...unless bayless and sergio play out of their minds which wont happen. If we lose 2 or 3 in a row...KP will have no choice but to upgrade!

What happens if we win every game between now and then?

It seems to be the policy of the Blazers this year to break any bad news slowly by first giving a shorter time-table for return, then gradually pushing the return back and back. They did this with Oden, Roy, Webster, and now Blake. It's pretty annoying.

Not too bad, more Bayless. We can win with him, he is no ordinary rookie. He lives for the big game.

Nobody with the Blazers wants Heiny. He's not even an afterthought. And he's certainly not an upgrade.

i hear memphis is trying to make a deal with chicago for a PG

lol

um yah...hes a little better then both. he can actually shoot, defend, and pass

all things sergio cant

Or after winning without him they have decided to see how it goes for awhile.

Or they are actually just making sure he's well and rested and ready for the playoff run.

Or they figure they need the time to trade him.

As I said, they've done this with every player who's been injured this year, so your alternatives don't fly.

Someone needs to step up consistently. If that's Bayless, great. If that's Sergio, also great.

Don't get too ahead of yourself. He had one big game after an absolutely horrible 1-11 or 1-12 game. I'm hoping he can show some consistency over the next couple of weeks.

NO HINSHIT

Cons:
maybe two more losses and a little more offensive confusion

Pros:
time to look at Bayless (and experience for him to gain)
Brandon and Rudy's chemistry should increase a ton!
A more fun team to watch

I'll take it!

doesn't matter whether he would help us or not, we're not trading for hinrich because of his contract.

This could be good. It will be give Serg and Bayless a chance to really show what they can do.

Blake is not in fact hurt. Nate simply asked him to step aside to give Jerryd and Sergio more minutes.

I'm pretty happy to see bayless and sergio get some burn. We're not winning the championship this season, so i don't mind seeing some development. And i'm not convinced yet that Blake is much better.

I wish Bayless had been aggressive late. He had played so well. 6 of 9 shooting. And then he deferred to Roy the end of the 4th and all OT. We should've gone to Bayless more. And Outlaw, despite his horrible night, should've taken the final shot.

Bayless and Aldridge were by far our best offensive options last night. When we realized Roy didn't have it, we should have let Bayless and LMA play a 2 man game. Bayless could have easily had 20+ again, as he had 14 through 3, along w/ 4 boards.

I sort of wonder if his first extended minutes didn't catch up to him, especially because he plays very hard on the defensive end?
