It started with Joe the Plumber asking a better question than all the reporters and debate moderators who preceded him. And the answer Mr. Wurzelberger got -- that Obama wants to spread the wealth around -- revealed Obama’s cultural commonality with European socialists.

“I think when you spread the wealth around it’s good for everybody.” Spread the wealth like Robin Hood? No, like robbing you. And if you read the Obama economic plans -- including about $800 billion more in spending on health care, college subsidies and climate controls -- his methods for spreading the wealth are the same ones the European redistributionists use.

LOL, F joe the plumber with his dumb ass (and no Plumber's license). He just agreed with some guy on the campaign trail who suggested that Obama would destroy Israel if elected.

And Obama ain't French... Nice try though, Talkhard.

as opposed to **** that only benefits corporations? I'll take the bottom up socialism lol.

essbee speaks the true

move and take the L.

i have a sincere question. why dont you ever insult republicans? they are just as bad and inept as democrats and both would strive to take money from where they shouldn't instead of putting it where it belongs. why choose to ride your high horse? are you going to ignore this because i continually point it out or because you put me on ignore possibly?

the answer will be revealed next shooter post. Stay tuned!

I thought making fun of the French went out of style about 5 years ago. You know, after people realized that if it weren't *for* the French we wouldn't be a country.

Republicans deserve their fair share of criticism, to be sure. But right now I'm more interested in stopping the election of Barack Hussein Obama, who is a radical marxist and will take this country down the wrong path.

Is that clear enough for you?

Typical Blabbity/Fox reaction... America has slipped and is losing our top spot in the world. Do we work to improve our Education system, or do we slip further (Hannity Style)?

The French were right in not joining us and disapproving of the Iraq war. And since when does 'you are with us or against us' become our national ideal? I must say, I envy the French government's near non-interventionist foreigh policy at times; certainly a more careful approach is in order for the US?

Wow. I usually don't see this much nonsense all in one place.

Bad news, Ray. He has a plumbing license. It was issued in the township he lives in.

I think that debt was repaid in full not once but twice--1917/18 and 1944/45, thank you very much.

I love this argument. How provincial we must be that we can't speak a foreign language. Gee, might that have something to do with the fact that virtually everyone in the US speaks English? I guarantee you, if people spoke different languages in Washington, California, Nevada and Idaho, we Oregonians would speak more than one language. And there are plenty of people who understand Spanish just fine.

And for the record, it has to do with the fact that English is the lingua franca (ironic, isn't it?). Most people in the UK speak foreign languages for crap. However, head to the Continent, and you'll find that the primary second language is English. Culturally, our language is dominant enough that people want to learn it. Much of pop music, movies and television is broadcast in English.

I agree. The French are known to just look out for themselves - Its in their genes. America can't seem to take their noses out of other countries business. What happened to America being isolationist? I guess fighting in WW2 got them heated up.

Just because you say it over and over and over and over again, doesn't make it any more clear (or true.)

thanks for answering. greatly appreciated

A lot of what happened in WW2 was because we came in after a lot of damage was already done. We came in after Russia and GB had already fought the Germans for a long time.

And I'm not sure if we should be too excited about taking as long as we did to get into the war (it basically started 8 years before we entered it), only because we were "attacked".

And we were only attacked because we were putting an oil embargo on Japan and they saw no other retaliation out there. And we only went after Germany because Japan and Germany were allies. So good for us. We came into WW2 late, cleaned up after a lot work that other countries did and have personally taken 90% of the credit for the positive outcome.

And yet, the French are the ones people make fun of.
