So I'm on mobile and I just searched for a picture and then long pressed picture and selected copy image URL. Then selected the picture button next to the smiley face button and pasted

I don't see your attachment on tapatalk. Boise has it right: to post a pic using the [ img ] tag, the pic url needs to end in .jpg.

.html url's won't work.
