We were very active over on BBF (before they got nasty on us). We're just moving our activity over here.

Gramps...

Looks like we're fourth in the Western Conference so we have HCA in the 1st round! Yippee!

mate, we post about anything and everything - most of this community has been together for years! we post like we'd talk at a bar - ball & bullshit :)

The date in question will occur on March 22, 2009 at approximately 2:55:14 pm. That is after the allstar break. The poster will be Kingspeed, congrats. (keep in mind there's a margin of error of five seconds, depending on how fast Kingspeed types on that particular day.)

Hope this clears things up.

The ratios:

2001 - 80% Ball 20% Bullshit
2002 - 73% Ball 27% Bullshit
2003 - 40% Ball 60% Bullshit
2004 - 08% Ball 92% Bullshit
2005 - 01% Ball 99% Bullshit
2006 - 50% Ball 50% Bullshit
2007 - 85% Ball 15% Bullshit
2008 - 110% Ball 115% Bullshit! We've got a quota to meet!

Actually, my calculations put it in February, in the 734th post of a mediocre Man "HUGE TRADE!" thread. The winning poster will be KingSpeed, like you said, with the post "Batum > Lebron... checkmate." of course, he will be simply bitter that we traded Batum and LaFrentz for LeBron.

Not to worry- the Gambler is back. As one of the recent wave, I'm enjoying posting in an active board again.

So we've gained about 16k posts in a month. At that rate, in a little over a month, we should be within sight of being top-5.

We talk a lot.

I propose moving all the political-related threads to the Religion and Politics forum. Then we can recount.

Why does this remind me of Chad In Portland? ;)

Start political-related threads in the Nets OT forum and compete!

Why? That's discussion this forum is generating. If it draws in fans of other teams, that's fair...we're just an interesting group. ;) But, more seriously, we've always talked about a wide variety of things together...it's part of why we always end up with so many posts. I actually don't care about forum post counts, but I am a bit amused about how many posts are generated here.

Totally agree.

My opinion only, but I think Blazer fans are THE most unique and diverse in the world. :pimp:

I don't think these guys know how active we are in the Blazer forum... and now that we have all moved over here. It will be for sure before ASB.

Ok, here we go with post growth in the past 24 hours (so you math types can more accurately determine when we grab the #1 spot).

The numbers of posts in roughly the past 24 hours (give or take a half hour).

2. Nets 327
3. Lakers 52
4. Rockets 9
5. Raptors 7
6. Warriors 6
7. Bobcats 4
7. T'Wolves 4
9. Knicks 2
10. Bulls 1
10. Heat 1
10. Hawks 1

When basketball season starts, the difference will tighten. Many fanbases don't talk basketball much in the off-season. And once the election is over, our political discussions will die out a lot.

Never seen any group more concerned about post count.

The Blazers are up-and-coming and so are the Blazer fans.

We have always been a talkative group and as it is just fairly recently that many of us have migrated to this board, we wonder where we stack in the group. Call us competitive, call us yakky, but most of all, call us Blazer fans!

Very well said. I think you nailed it.

(not to mention, that stupid little brother syndrome we have due to our neighbors to the north.)
