You know, I was just reading on a crazy site and a poster may have had a good point. The Nets organization has been good about covering Jason's off court behavior. But suddenly, this past year, all kinds of dirt is coming out. It does makes you wonder if they're purposely letting the dirt fly just to force him to lower his extension price or force him to request a trade (tired of NY area). Maybe it's just me, but the club/gropping episode, where were his handlers? And why wasn't she paid off before she could go to the police? I'm not arguing the truth coming out, just questioning the timing. And if someone had an alternative reason for leaking his private escapades.

I don't think so. Don't think the Nets are that coniving and underhanded. Plus it hurts their image.

It's Page Six. They live for getting dirt on celebs. Wouldn't surprise me if Joumana was the one feeding the press since she has connections within the media. I could see her being vengeful.

Sorry, I think that's ridiculous. Why would the Nets create off-the-court bad press for themselves? It's stupid. If anything, they go out of their way to cover up any trouble Kidd gets into.

I could see Joumana being hurt that Jason has already impregnated some gold-digging girl, but I don't think she would be vengeful. Besides, how would she know exactly what restaurant they went to? Whatever, it's not like they can hide something like this anyway. It was going to get out one way or another.

Yes, Joumana is so sweet and nice. I mean she would never circulate false rumors about RJ being gay.

She is a vengeful, psycho former beer girl that wants to make sure she is getting the biggest chunk of Jason's money. She and Jason are very ugly on the inside.

In my opinion, she wouldn't circulate a false rumor about her husband, especially a year into their separation, when there isn't as much tension. Why blame Joumana for Jason being in Page Six every other month? He's the one that is living this life style. I bet she feels hurt and saddened by the recent events. Why would she feed Page Six some happy-go-lucky story about how they went to celebrate with the parents? That doesn't make sense.

Being a beer girl in college doesn't make her a psycho or a bad person. Many people grow up after their college years. I have no idea what she's really like deep down, but I'm not going to hate on her because of a job (as stupid as it may be) she had in college. She's no angel, but I don't hate on her like you do. Nobody knows what really happened in that marriage except those two.

Agreed. The only thing I will add is that I've never been in a position like that before, so it's hard to predict how I would react to something as traumatizing as finding a phone like that. Still, it looks like she lost control there.

I have no idea how a college job relates to a person being a gold digger. It's a college job... not a career. I am not sure what she was like back in college, so it's pointless to talk about. I can only go by recent times, and I don't think she acts like a gold digger. Gold diggers don't give a crap what their husbands are doing on the road. As long as they are getting paid, they do not care. From what we've seen, Joumana cared deeply about what Jason was doing, to the point where she started doing crazy things to try to assure herself that he wasn't doing anything bad behind her back. I agree with you that some of it was crazy, but I don't think it means she is psychotic. Many people probably act crazy in times of turmoil and heavy stress. We're all human. It's no excuse and it doesn't make it right, but it's a fact of life that people sometimes just lose it.

I'm not sure how marrying a Dallas Mavericks/Phoenix Suns basketball player would help too much in furthering a career in the media. Cool, she got to be on a radio show and do a little reporting in a one-horse town where nothing ever goes on. Big deal. Both Kidds were all upset and angry when Kidd got traded from Phoenix. Sounds to me like she would have been more than content to just keep doing some small stuff in that one-horse town. When they came to this area, a few more opportunities sprung up. A lot of people, famous or not, land jobs in part due to connections. If your wife knew somebody who could help you get a better job, I'm sure you wouldn't refuse. And I bet your wife would be glad to help you. Yes, Joumana was working in the media, but for goodness sake, she had a communications degree. It's not like she was trying to get some free pass to media stardom.

Ugh, I see few comparisons between the two of them. Joumana was actually married to Jason when they conceived a baby. And at that time, Jason wasn't married to another woman, recently separated, and openly cheating on Joumana. On the other hand, Jason is now married to another woman, recently separated, and in my opinion, hasn't exactly been hiding that he likes to act like a single guy. Plus, his dirty laundry has increased ten-fold. Yet Hope is with him, and having a baby.

I've also stumbled upon this, and if the comment posted at the bottom of the page is true, then it just furthers my point that you can't compare her to Joumana. (yes, I realize the site is some goofy tabloid page, but where there's smoke there's usually fire.)
