France's military actions in Africa
France's laws against wearing headscarves in public schools
2 taken into custody said they are Syrian and recruited by ISIS. That's a bit North from Africa.

There was a report in the concert Hall that they were screaming "For Syria"

I wonder what France's involvement with Syria

France now has the largest Muslim population in Europe. However, ethnic minority immigrants and their descendants do not fare well in French society. A large proportion of them reside in public housing complexes in suburban communities (banlieues) that surround French cities. Public housing complexes in these areas are neglected and physically deteriorating. The neighborhoods are largely segregated and isolated the neighborhoods in Paris. They contain high concentrations of low-income immigrants. Crime is high and the schools are often substandard.

Young men in these neighborhoods are the targets of police harassment. They are stereotyped as gang members and criminals. They are referred to as "immigrants" even though most of them are citizens who were born in France. The conditions in banlieues surrounding the "City of Light" are so stark that observers refer to those communities as the "Other France."
Thank you. So they are oppressed then?

The reputable news sources do not say this has anything to do with radical islam.

French airstrikes against ISIS in Syria?

French colonialists got around and have history in Syria.

So 60 people have been killed and not one word about guns mentioned by Obama. None of the liberals are talking about gun violence. Everyone is talking about how horrible Isis is and how they must be stopped.

WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT? Seriously? Why can people blame the terrorists for this, but not the douchebag kids who essentially do the same thing in schools? The only reason why they aren't talking about guns is because France has strict gun laws, and it's a completely different country so it doesn't fit their agenda.

If you don't understand that you're comparing apples to oranges then I don't know what to say...

You're right, we have speed limits, but when someone breaks those laws we punish the person, not the car or the car company. We don't try to take all cars away from everyone else. If it's something small, we fine them. If it's something big, like that woman who hit three school girls in a crosswalk, we give them jail time. We talk about how that person was a horrible driver and they should be punished. We don't talk about the cars. Maybe if cars were smaller or slower they would kill less people? Maybe if we only allowed people to drive golf carts there wouldn't be any vehicle deaths? Maybe if people only rode bicycles we won't have situations like that??

We realize that the fault lies with the user, not the instrument.

Comparing cars to instruments of death again is comparing apples to oranges. Guns are designed to kill.

What's so different? What makes a religious terrorist different from a social terrorist? Many of the kids plan out there attacks to the same degree as these Islamic terrorists.

You're right, we don't make their laws, but some people are pining for laws within the same vein as the ones in France. So if something like this can happen in France, why isn't that part of the discussion for any future gun laws in America?

Little white kids don't get called terrorist. They get called mentally disturbed.

Geraldo Rivera, a registered Democrat and totally against Trump's immigration policy, said we need to listen to Trump and bomb the shit out of ISIS. The pundits on CNN just said that Trump has now become the front runner for presidency because of his immigration and support for military.

Why didnt France just wave the white flag like always? #freedomfries

France's approach and reaction to radical islamism created this environment. The white flag was waived before any of this happened.

His daughter was there. Probably had something to do with his probable change of heart.

It probably wasn't ISIS, as they are contained.

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama said that the U.S. strategy against ISIS has "contained them," but not yet succeeded in its effort to "decapitate" ISIS leadership.

"I don't think they're gaining strength," Obama told ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Thursday for an interview that aired Friday morning. "What is true, from the start our goal has been first to contain and we have contained them. They have not gained ground in Iraq and in Syria. They'll come in. They'll leave. But you don't see this systemic march by ISIL across the terrain. What we have not yet been able to do is to completely decapitate their command and control structures. We've made some progress in trying to reduce the flow of foreign fighters."

Obama has been apprehensive about engaging U.S. ground forces in another struggle in the Middle East, after extensive wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. But he announced two weeks ago that a small group of less than 50 U.S. special ops soldiers would go to Syria to bolster rebel forces there in the fight against ISIS.

I do wonder if the Syrian refugees provided an easy path for terrorists to move freely throughout Europe.

Maybe. But those responsible for the terrorist acts are the ones these refugees are trying to get away from.

How do you even deal with that?

Probably an easy cover for those that are evil.

And this is the catch. There just is no correct answer for this. However, countries around the world can not give into these Islamist groups demands.
