Time to concentrate on the court, and not Tony Kornholer on Twitter, and show up for Game Two like a man possessed.

I think Lillard will have an epic Game 2.

big fat PLUS1, agree

Dame had no fire. I think he'll start off a bit slowly but will pick it up. We need Aldridge to set the tone early in game 2. Getting down 8-0 really jarred Portland early on and it stuck.

Agreed.

Aldridge started off 6/18 with those shitty ass fadeaways.

Ended the game 12/25 with 32 points after working the post.

...LeBron turns off his Twitter account for a reason, I think it is working! :devilwink:

Regardless of the outcome of this series, it will do great things for this team moving forward. I've been waiting years to face the spurs in the playoffs, because there is no team in the nba you can learn more from. If dam can model his inside game around Parker's then he will find himself as the most complete pg in nba history. If it takes getting swept in the second round to do that then I am all for it.

That's the most floaters I've ever seen Dame take. Next he needs to learn how to make them.

I found somethings to be optimistic about.

As this thrashing was going on, I didn't since any doubt in the faces of the players. And a almost "We have him right where we want them kind of feel". They had the same physiological state they had the Houston series. They weren't hanging their heads and I think for the most part they played pretty hard. Things will get better in game two. But will it be enough?

Exactly - if he can make that a dependable part of his arsenal then he's going to take a big step forward. At that point, he should be getting the lion's share of the shots.

This is why I wanted to face SAS. They are the far superior team. They are champions and always in contention. Dallas is a good team, but not even close to SAS in terms of execution. Facing them would have given us some false idea on how far this club is. If we lose the series with SAS, then it gives Olshey a good idea of what we need to do to get to the next level. I mean that's the goal right? We need to beat teams at the caliber of SAS, Miami and OKC to be in contention.

Great point about Dame. He generally doesn't let people take him to the woodshed game after game. He seems to take a beating, learn his lesson and come back with a repsonse.

This team doesn't know the meaning of quit. They've shown me that time and time again. We looked a lot better than Dallas did in their game 7 loss, I'll say that.
