I disagree. That takes you down to her level.

People like to make fun of strippers, and yes some of them are nasty people (as this one appears to be), but there are strippers that literally turn to that so they dont end up homeless or they have nowhere to turn to. It may lead them to bad decisions (drugs, abusive relationships etc.) But everyone has a story to tell.

Stripping is legal the last time I checked. They aren't harming anyone and offer a service many people are interested in.

If she's shaming people for taking shit jobs, its ok for me to do it to her. Others? I could care less about, but in her instance, in her world, I'm going to make fun of her in any way I can. Maybe she isn't a whore, but I'll call her one.

Yes, its stooping to her level, but its the only language these bitches will understand. I don't know about you, but in nightlife, you get these types of girls every so often. The only way to deal with them is to make them subhuman.

When you shame someone for what they did to scratch a living and raise a child and you yourself do worse things for money, don't throw stones.

And yes IMO, being a stripper is worse than "working for dirt" and its my personal belief that you've failed as a parent of your child works in the sex industry.

She was the one who brought up her parents alleged profession.

Once you do that, what you do for a living is fair game.

This. She was doing a lot worse than "working for dirt", which is why I'd have no problem shaming her for stripping. If she hadn't made that comment, I'd be against shaming her for being a stripper. But she opened that up on herself.

I'm not denying what she did was awful. And to be fair I didnt watch the video. But I don't find it ok to shame someone for what they do for a living no matter what.

And I'm not ok with stopping to the level of someone else that is obviously a horrible person.

You and I differ in this area and that's fine. I don't go around shaming strippers..... Unless they try to shame another profession.

I believe prostitution should be decriminalized and the workers should be protected.

Oh, I agree. I didn’t say I would shame her. I’d prefer to take the high road myself. But I can’t find fault in others shaming her.
