At least the dude knows how to hit the outside jumper. Also he's a fan favorite and the teammates love him. Patty and Matthews developed a special bond last season. I wonder if Mills would help bring back Matthews from his funk?

Why couldn't we bring Mills in? At least Nate would be able to bench Felton if Felton is turning the ball over.

based on what I heard at the meet and greet, its unlikely you will see mills on the blazers again.

Um, yes please. Anything is better than Failton. And at this point, it's time to wash our hands of these shitty veterans (Failton and Crawfull) and get our two rookies in the mix. We need to evaluate our talent and move ON.

I would gladly replace Armon with Patty, even if Patty never saw a minute of time on the floor (although why he shouldn't given how shitty Felton and Smith have been...) just because he's relentlessly up and this team has gotten seriously down (with good reason, but still).

forgot armon was even a blazer. lol

So cut Oden and sign him? I guess if the followup move is to trade Crawford, Felton and Wallace and play all of the young guys it probably doesn't threaten to hurt our chances at a good draft pick, so I'm OK it with it I guess.

I'd rather have this kid as the next PG than Mills.

I like the idea of Mills- at least with respect to Failton.

I can't think of anything Mills can't do better.

I asked if patty mills would ever be in a blazers uni again and the answer was an astounding "not likely at all"

No, but they haven't brought Patty in as their savior

You may be right, but we won't know for sure until Mills is cleared for play here. I'll be surprised if he isn't picked up by someone looking for more backcourt depth.

Mills was waived in China. He is a FA and can sign with anyone now

Seriously, would anyone consider Mills back here? Waive Johnson and see what he can do?

Mills was waived in China. He is a FA and can sign with anyone now

I believe that although the former is correct, the latter is not. The waiving means that he doesn't have to go back and play, but the terms of his contract still bar him from playing in the NBA until his team is out. But if you have evidence that he is free to play, I'd like to see it.

Only half correct, from what I can tell:

Two players who have been released mid-season, Martin and Mills, both of whom played for the Xinjiang Guanghui Flying Tigers, have not received their FIBA letters of clearance. Per their agreement with their team and the CBA, both must wait at home until Xinjiang’s season is completed.

Can we get him though? I would rather have Brooks as well, but I think Houston matches anything we offer.

Phoenix owns his rights, but I agree with you that they will match........Sign and trade? Can that be done?
