Nice game we will see if he can keep it going. Mills has one thing that Armon will never have. Blazing speed. (Pun fully intended)

I thought Armons game wasn't bad either, but that was because most of it was open court for his short stint. He really struggles in half court.

Armon is pretty damn quick. With or without the ball. Rather, the things Mills has over Johnson are his shot and ability to keep defenses honest.

Patty did a good job running the offense and driving. His handle scares me also. Did you see him get picked twice back to back in the backcourt? I mean nobody gets picked when starting their dribble in the back court. I think Armon has a much better handle here. Patty has a much better long ball, which really helps him in that lineup. On defense it isn't close. Patty really got lost guarding Nash. Armon was giving him fits. Nash was clearly disrupted by Armon--moreso that by either Mills or Batum.

I was a big proponent of keeping Mills on the roster. He brings things to the team nobody else offers--speed combined with fearless perimeter shooting.

Even in summer league I always felt like the difference between Armon and Mills at running the PG position was overstated.

The exciting thing for me to watch last night was Mills' defense. For all that people criticize Nate, the transformation in level of defensive effort from the PG I saw play in SL and on the Idaho Stampede is really immense. Nate hasn't coached him to grow about three inches in height, but he's doing a much, much better job of being relevant on the defensive end. (Clearly isn't ever going to be as good as Armon, though.)

Anyway, I like the comparison BlazerCaravan made to poor men's Anthony and Stoudamire. Spot on. Not exactly what you idealize for our PGOTF, but not bad for where we drafted them.
