The Lakers don't seem to want him around anymore.

Yeah, he hasn't has a good playoffs, but Laker fans seem quick to throw him under the bus despite everything he's done for them in the past.

Yeah cause Andrew Bynum is always so healthy?

They need to cut back on his minutes, and keep him barring some great trade.

If they lose on Sunday, I don't think he'll be a Laker next year despite all he's done for the organization. I would give up any combination of Camby, Miller, Batum, Rudy, AJ, and Babbitt for Pau. Do the Lakers want any of those guys?

If he goes to Orlando for Howard? OMG.

It's baffling. Bunch of ungrateful bitches.

You had to do it, didn't you? The thought of my fav player (Nic) in LA makes me mad.

Camby and Miller are pretty up there in mileage. I don't see an enticing offer.

Once you are washed with purple and piss; you are forever rejected in Blazerville!

I wonder if the Pau Gasol trade was the right one? I mean the Lakers gave them their first rounder, which = Little brother Gasol.

Funny enough... In my 2K11 season, Aldridge got hurt so I traded Rudy, Camby, and Miller to the Lakers for Pau, Theo, and Roger Mason. Then Aldridge came back and I traded Pau to Dallas for Dirk. With Mills/Roy/Dirk/Aldridge/Oden, I waltzed to the #1 seed and the title. Dirk is money in that game. Give him the ball, square up and shoot over anyone from anywhere and he usually makes it.

A guy helps you get two championships and now he's expendable.... go figure.

hm...that sounds so familiar...

If Howard goes to the Lakers, I have a feeling that the state of Florida just might declare war on California. If that happens to be the case, I will be firmly in the Floridian camp.

The obvious trade: Pau to Memphis for Rudy Gay. Odom becomes the starting PF for the Lakers.

It makes too much sense NOT to happen: it's the final stage in the redemption of Chris Wallace. The reunion of Pau and Battier. Memphis would have the best big man rotation in the league. And they would have unloaded that stupid contract.

Wow, that's actually pretty interesting from so many angles. And, I think it's fair when everything is taken into account.

Would Pau, Marc, or ZBo accept a bench role?

LA might be interested in grabbing Mayo, the guy would probably make a great point in the triangle and the LA connections are obvious. Maybe Pau/Artest for Gay/Mayo? The lakers would get a lot younger which they'd love, Memphis would be firmly in the win-now camp.

ZBO would not. but I suspect that one of the brothers might be willing to acquiesce, as long as all received sufficient minutes. Pau is also getting older now and might even thrive in a more limited roll. And if the news about Pau being pissed at a teammate is true, then he might also love the idea of finding a new team that includes family.

Memphis is getting real lucky playing Russian Roulette right now, I doubt they would want to chamber one more round with Artest. At least I would have interest if I were making the decisions. As far as trading Mayo, I don't think the Grizz should give him up is a package like that.

I hear ya with how it looks now.. but they got 2 titles out of it.. so IMO it was the right move.

Absolutely true. Fuck how much I would love for the Blazers to win 2 titles. I would be more than happy to be in "rebuilding mode" now, if we won two titles until now.
