@ripcityproject perhaps having no GM today was a blessing in disguise.

See, and all of you guys thought he had no plan.

The Blazers had no cap space or and key FAs to resign.

I wouldn't have minded somebody getting on the horn to offer JJ Reddick or Drew Gooden the MLE for 3 years, though.

EDIT - as Fez said, I don't get it.

Yeah, what? I am confused.

All of these terrible FA signings ... we were lucky not to have a GM to go out and make them (forget about having no capspace for a second.)

The Blazers weren't in a position to offer anyone a large contract, though.

OK then, we were both lucky to not have capspace and a GM to waste it

Shit, you guys are over thinking this.

Conversely, maybe the "close" Chris Paul deal gets done today with the guy who was swinging for the fences still on board.

Instead, it's the Wesley Matthews/Jordan Farmar show!

Meh. Our owner, Al Davis II, is not crazy as a fox- he's senile as Bill Cosby.

Drew Gooden's contract is beyond crazy.

What's next, Adam Morrison with a 5year/$35m deal?

I'm guessing that PA hated KP's proposed trade for Paul, nixed it - then fired his ass.

When Nate heard he might be stuck coaching Paul, he almost had a nervous breakdown. He convinced PA to fire KP, and to take all the blame.

Dang, that Nate is crafty!
