PaulGAllen Don’t believe bogus unnamed sources. Blazers would never rehire KP. Priority now is the draft.

LMFAO!

PA with the KP/Canzano smackdown!

I dont think its really a "diss". He's just squashing the rumors that the local writers come up with while they sit on their couch and watch crap TV like America's Got Talent.

I don't know why Allen won't criticize Canzano directly. Canzano restarted a months-long campaign against Allen a year ago, repeatedly saying he's the worst owner in sports. This is like watching Clinton and Carter playing pacifist to their media enemy. Attack back, Paul.

I wonder who writes Allen's twits?

It was first reported by Alan Hahn, a NYC beatwriter.

is this a real Twitter?

Oh shit! Alan Hahn started this whole thing? Damn I wish I would have read the bi-line on the original story; I could have saved myself a minute or two thinking about this today. He's like Peter Vescey without the hall-of-fame ring.

Completely unprofessional, and reactionary as well.

Vintage Paul Allen. This organization is Clown Town.

KP would probably want no part of coming back anyways. Great GM's want no part of this organization. It's what led to hiring Choad.

There was absolutely no need for the organization to go all out in denying this rumor, with Larry doing interviews and PA tweeting specifically, and vehemently that KP is not in consideration. Makes it look petty and unprofessional.

Allen is becoming a national punchline in NBA circles, and he's worried about a rumor involving KP.

Does this mean that KP pwns Paul Allen?

It's pretty obvious this franchise fears the greatness that is Kevin Pritchard

Only other time they've done something like this is Warkentien. Someone draw some conclusions from that.

Sure there was - we as fans want to be in the know, so they informed us. I appreciate it. How is shooting down a rumor unprofessional? Some of you just want to bitch.

What, you had expectations that Allen would act -- I dunno -- professional for a change? Oh, you is funny, funny guy.

"Fear the greatness that is KP" .... hmmm, not so sure about that, but I do think it's personal for Allen (for whatever reason). Which probably helps explain why he is such a shitty businessman.

Some people really like KP way too much and aren't rational about him :)

They could have denied the rumor with tact.

Larry doing multiple interviews to go to the lengths to deny it. PA saying "Blazers would never hire" him just makes it seem like they're going out of their ways to distance themselves from KP (for seemingly no reason at all). This, after they embarrassingly fired him before the draft last year.

Whatever the beef between KP and PA is, it will hopefully come out in July once KP's contract ends.

Why start now?

I'm pretty sure than any non-fiction book KP writes about his last year here would not paint him in anything close to a good light.
