What extension. He just signed one last summer. He's under contract through 2017-18 with a player option for 2018-19, which he will no doubt opt out of as he'll be eligible for the super duper max.

I suppose technically it's a new contract.

Jesus Christ. So we could end up the 8th seed again......only to be eliminated in the first goddamn round.

Sigh!

It'll be cute when people say Olshey didnt do shit this year to get George or some other big name star.

It's because we don't have shit people want, and we ain't winning shit unless it's a fluke and GSW has injured players.

Lets mortgage the future on the hopes of others' injuries! That's smart business.

I thought he had to wait until next summer to opt out and re-sign.

If they have cap space I think they can tear up the contract and start over. Or something like that. Seems weird but analysts seem to think they are allowed to do this.

Y'all musta forgot about NURK....

I have us between 5th an 7th... still iffy, but I'd probably lean more towards 6th or 7th based purely on paper. Id put minny ahead of us.

I hope everyone realize that Oladipo is going to make MORE than Crabbe the next 3 years. WHAT IN THE FUCK Pritch!

That seems reasonable to me if the Jazz lose Hayward and Hill. If the Timberwolves add Teague or Hill (or Lowry), I think they could jump ahead of the Blazers.

Minny already added Teague.

I think this is pretty close to reality - depending, of course, on what else happens. But as things currently stand. I could see OKC going #3, and I could see SAS anywhere from #3-#7. MIN could be better than us, but it's MIN so I won't believe it until I see it.

It's official: the Blazers have no balls. None. They could have put together a much better package for a one year rental of PG13. Now every single team in the NW Division got better and the Blazers stood pat. Fuck this.

Ya'll delusional, Blazers finish in bottom 4 playoff spots in the west the next two years, Lillard will be on his way out. It's happening everywhere. These guys want to play for winners.

Also, let me be a friend and help you realize reality:

We don't have anything. We have crabbe and vonleh, and we aren't giving picks. It's a rental. We don't have anything good for a rental.

This. You can't wait out these other teams. Your stars will demand out if you aren't in contention. The clock is ticking...

Butler goes West. George goes West.

I'm not mad.

Even if we did would we want to give it up for a rental? Fuck no.

It's really easy for people who don't look for a way to hate the team for their own unrealistic expectations to see it.

Na, they're not unrealisitic. Swing for the fences, you only have a couple of years with Dame/CJ. Oladipo's contract is atrocious, and sabonis is an OK piece. We def should have made a better offer
