Wow! 2025, that is pretty bad; we really need it this year or my opinion of this trade changes completely!
Makes me more inclined to trade it now. How do you not negotiate more favorable protections for us?You may not have to worry about the pick after Thursday.
yeah...that secondary pick option makes the Pels trade a lot worse. WTF Cronin?
Actually, Josh Hart has a better true shooting percentage than anyone who played for the trailblazers this season. .604. Identical to what Seth curry is doing in Philadelphia. It’s arguable that in today’s NBA that Hart’s defense is more valuable than CJ’s offense.
That's still a better team than what we'll be putting out there.Bad news from the Wizards. They'll be tanking now that Beal is out for the season.
The Blazers play the Wizards in Portland in March.

I am not sure on thatI never heard anything about the secondary option till the announcement about what it was
We're thinking about the Pelicans too. New Orleans could miss the playoffs but pass Washington in the overall standings. That's still a better team than what we'll be putting out there.
As long as the Pelicans miss the playoffs, I couldn't care less where they finish in regard to the Wizards. We're thinking about the Pelicans too. New Orleans could miss the playoffs but pass Washington in the overall standings.
The Wizards are only 2 1/2 games ahead of the Pelicans.
So you couldn't care less if the Blazers get the 9th pick or the 10th pick from the Pelicans? I do. I'd rather have the 9th pick.As long as the Pelicans miss the playoffs, I couldn't care less where they finish in regard to the Wizards.
so, to get this 5-14 pick, we need pelicans not to make the playoffs, is that correct

top 4 picks get 4 teams with the worst record, am i correctThey need to not make the Playoffs, and then not get lucky and have the pick fall into the Top-4. Doubtful they would fall that far on their own.
If they are in a play-in with the L*kers, the Pels will be facing some serious 8 on 5 action.theyre not going to the playoffs, no chance (at least without zion)
they stand no chance against timberwoles, clippers or lakers
lakers suck, but lebron & davis would kick them out in the play-in if it comes to that point
I wouldn’t say that right now, that trade could give them a huge boost, just like Nurkic gave the Blazers that boost when he came in 2017. The Lakers are a mess and have a brutal schedule, they are washed, i dont know if they catch the Clippers, hopefully not, and then there are still the Timberwolves 7 wins ahead of the Pelicans, but they are still the Timberwolves so you cant trust themtheyre not going to the playoffs, no chance (at least without zion)
