Yeah, when you consider that their most likely path is through the Lakers who will likely have both LeBron and AD and then the Clippers, those would be two games that I doubt the Pelicans would be favored in, especially not the second one. That being said they are definitely capable of beating those two teams with the Lakers being so flawed (even though I would expect LeBron to just dominate) and the Clippers missing their two superstars.

Funny thing: CJ is ballin but still misses free throws like crazy. I don’t know what happened, his free throw broke. He was shooting over 90% a few years ago and just randomly fell off a cliff out of nowhere. It’s been off the last three years though it’s a bit worse now than even before.

oof, that's a brutal blow for them.

i'm still unsure what it means for us. we're in like a delicate balance of wanting them to win but not too much. (or wanting them to lose, but not too much).

needless to say, he's absolutely killing it though and was one of the reasons why i wanted to keep him through the summer so he could build trade value. As a #1 option, he puts up ridiculous numbers but they don't always translate to wins.

Even worse, we actually end up in the play-in somehow too. We're in full tank but only .5 game out of play-in if we were to somehow win tonight, I think.

Unlike the rest of these teams we aren't playing around. We are going to shamelessly tank the rest of this season. I honestly think there is better than a 50/50 chance that we don't win another game. Our team is all about tanking our best right now and never tanking again. Just getting the best asset possible out of the draft lotto and then getting back to winning next season.

They might play more players for the home games so fans actually show up.

It’s a joke. There are about 5 weeks left in the season. I hope he’s out the rest of the season so the Blazers get the pick.
