I wonder if the Ducks commitment to hiring from within instead of searching for national talent will come back to haunt them. What experience does this guy have as a coordinator?

None as a coordinator...at least that I know of. 32 total years of experience as a player, admin and coach.
General consensus is that he's an excellent LB coach and recruiter. This year at LB leaves a bit to be desired though.

Again, not sure, but I read he's never coordinated/coached the backfield. People think he's more aggressive than NA.
