Peloton was slammed yesterday for releasing a new ad that was deemed sexist. The ad triggered jokes and parodies on Twitter and led to a 6% drop in Peloton’s stock price. Is it really sexist for a man to purchase exercise equipment for his wife?.......

Most people think of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" as a cute little story about a cute little reindeer with a cute shiny nose and a happy ending.

Think again, says George Giuliani, a special ed professor at Long Island University in New York, who has written an alternative to the Christmas classic called "No More Bullies at the North Pole."

He recently went on "Fox & Friends" to discuss the issue and says the treatment Rudolph receives from jolly St. Nick and his merry band of reindeer is tantamount to bullying.

For example, when Comet, the team coach, discovers Rudolph's nose glows, he banishes him from the team and tells the other reindeer to never let him join in any reindeer games.

"What a terrible message to send to children," Giuliani told ABCNews.com......

Actually, though, last Saturday, we took our great-niece to go see Rudolph the Musical at the Grand Ol' Opry. We were surprised that it was less than half full. One of the attendants told us that there have been many protests by whichever groups and that has greatly affected the turnouts, Sad, really.

promotes bullying? I've always thought that the story of Rudolph denigrated bullying and rightfully so.

I wish more people realized that. What has been irritating me is lately is I see so many people saying oh we need to be better, we need to try to be united, and then those same people take every opportunity to slander those they disagree with. This is a general comment not just about s2.

Regarding Pelaton, it was pretty stupid to have a commercial giving a skinny lady an excercise back then sharing results and looking exactly the same. I will say you can be skinnier and out of shape. Too, how good would it have looked for a husband giving his overweight wife an excercise bike for Christmas? The results though, seeing a skinnier more in shape version of his wife sharing the results and how it changed her life might be more inspiring.

As for Rudolph, though there are themes of bullying, it is a story of uniqueness. Rudolph finds he actually fits in, becoming the leader of Santas slay. All the other reindeer end up loving him, its all good. In the end, it's just a song.

I once gave my wife a sewing machine for Christmas. She wasn't thrilled. Fortunately being a college graduate I quickly learned the five words that every married man must learn and practice daily.

For bonus points learn these two expressions:
1. I'll cook dinner tonight;
2. I'll wash the dishes.

At this point there's nothing left to do but go and have a large ring inserted in your nose.
