This Dixon fella is clueless. Rudeness is an ugly form of harassment. Apologies are certainly due.
What do you expect @SlyPokerDog ?! This is the same musical that gave a standing ovation when Hillary Clinton came. The cast almost had organisms in her presence. Manhattan is arguably the most liberal city in all of USA.
They are hurt because their God Queen got her ass handed to her by the Great God Emperor Trump. Liberals scorned to very drastic things.
I think the tweets were to expose the hypocrisy of the so called "tolerant left." The same group that pushes tolerance by not being tolerant to those with opposing views. Some call that bigotry. But that statement was not harassment.
Liberals are suppose to be the ones with thin skin.
The reports were that Pence was booed when he came to the theater.Sorry guys, I'm a Trump supporter, but I have to side with Sly on this. I read that statement, and it wasn't rude. A bit....pessimistic, perhaps. And I suppose, depending on how deeply you want to break down the tone of the message, it could even be interpreted as "condescending".
But I personally didn't see it as being rude.
That being said, I have little doubt that the crowd most certainly may have been rude.

I would go a bit further. As I explained to Sly, they gave Hillary a standing ovation and the cast basically fell over themselves at her presence. If there is a call out on Pence, where were they when Hillary called blacks super predators?
The audience booed him. Why does the cast of Hamilton have to apologize for the audience?
Because the cast used their stage to engage on a political matter, instead of sticking to the play. And as such, it fired up the crowd, which wasn't necessary. At all.
That's one way to look at it. And 80% of me feels comfortable with that statement.
Pence was both cheered and boo'd by members of the audience when he was led to his seats by the secret service. The crowd fired themselves up.
The message to Pence was given after the play was over.

Trump said:"The Theater must always be a safe and special place.
DiploidWhat sort of organisms? Single-celled, or more advanced?
barfo
Theater is not just about entertainment and HAMILTON, a show in which our founding fathers are played by African Americans, certainly is not leaving politics about it. It's about politics. My point remains: a play is about entertainment. Just like Kaepernick and football. Leave the SJW bullshit and politics out of it.
I think brutal was the wrong adjective to describe the situation....if Pence can't handle that, he'll have a tough time dealing with the job he has nowI watched the video and Pence wasn't booed as loudly as reported. It was actually mostly applause and cheers. As for the speech, I didn't think it was rude.

Like Washington DC?It is just a matter off selecting places where civil decorum will rule.
