Dixon led the Broadway musical cast in delivering a message to Pence from the stage after Friday night’s performance, which Pence attended.

"Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us at 'Hamilton: An American Musical,' " Dixon said onstage.

"We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. We hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us."

Trump lashed out at the cast Saturday morning in a series of tweets.

"The Theater must always be a safe and special place.The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!" he wrote.

Because the cast used their stage to engage on a political matter, instead of sticking to the play. And as such, it fired up the crowd, which wasn't necessary. At all.

Theater is not just about entertainment and HAMILTON, a show in which our founding fathers are played by African Americans, certainly is not leaving politics about it. It's about politics.

Oh I think he can handle. I would not advice attending the academy awards either. It is just a matter off selecting places where civil decorum will rule.
Most of the time when a High ranking official attends a play or show, they normal announce this to the crowd and give the person a round of applause.
I suppose one must acknowledge the left world has changed.
