Got to love his intensity!
He has what it takes "heart" wise and that's what this team is missing! He is a beast!
But can he play? I saw so little of him last year I really wonder if he has what it takes "talent" wise.
He grabbed 14 rebounds in a game and didn't even play the 4th quarter. He also made almost every 12-15 ft jump shot he took. He didn't take many but they went down when he did. Overall, he shot 67% from the field. He's a decent player. I'm sooo going to Vegas to see him dominate in person.
I don't understand where all of his smirking and confidence comes from. The guy couldn't get minutes ahead of an 83 year-old Juwan Howard last year.

the article alludes to him never lacking confidence... surely you've come across a few of those types.I don't understand where all of his smirking and confidence comes from. The guy couldn't get minutes ahead of an 83 year-old Juwan Howard last year.
Yeah I hate confident rookies
I prefer players to show me how good they are, rather than tell me. Those are two kinds of confidence that aren't necessarily related.
How is he supposed to 'show' anything while being interviewed by the media before summer league? All I saw was a second year player joking around while answering questions and looking foward to showing he belongs in the NBA. Nothing wrong with that.
I don't think it's too much to ask.
If he shows what he did last year, he'll look like a fool.
He can show me on the court. He can refrain from talking about how he's going to shoot three pointers and be dominant in summer league.

If he shows me, then of course I'll care much less about him flapping his gums.

I think one of the KP successes is drafting people who train hard - he's certainly one. I think he's excited because he has shown he belongs in the league even without much offensive skills. He feels he's developed some of those skills, so now he's ready to "kick butt". I hope he's right.
